Strange Fire Dress

I am so, so happy to finally have my hands on this dress. I think I have the last one in my size on all the web. I was actually surprised it was so popular, as it sold out on Revolve quite quickly. It later came back in stock, but as usual, my size was the first to go within a few days. I ended up buying this off an Australian site, Fashion Bunker after receiving a $30 off coupon. Customs unfortunately didn't let me off, so I probably should have just bought it from Revolve the first time round. Oh well, lesson learned I guess.

The dress makes a bit of a statement being bright orange, so I kept the outfit simple with just a pink clutch and wedges. The colour scheme was inspired by Xiao Wen Ju's dress for the Met Gala this year – a gorgeous coral orange skirt with a bright pink bustier. You can see the editorial on Style Calling.

Also, if you know a good lippie the colour of this dress, I'd love to know it. I'm on the lookout, and while Revlon's Tutti Frutti is similar, I want something a bit brighter (I'm wearing it here and you can see it's a bit sheer). Any suggestions are welcome, just leave a comment below!
